LITTLE HAIR COMPANY
What a month it has been!
It’s been a weird one with things slowly returning to normal although I am not quite ready to pop my favourite lipstick on as we are still being cautious in the salon and opting to still wear masks. With clients it’s optional but as a team we feel more comfortable wearing ours; doing without them feels like when you forget to put your seatbelt on in the car.
It’s the same old same old with us this month so I thought I would write about what our beauty therapist has on offer. We have a host of specialist pampering treatments on offer, Sheree offers everything from hot stones, deep tissue dermaplaning and most recently micro needling.
Sheree has years of experience under her belt including teaching beauty therapy, so we are delighted to have her with us. I used to work alongside Sheree years ago so it’s lovely to have her on our team offering her wealth of knowledge and expertise here at the Little Hair Company.
I have exciting news too!
The salon’s hours will be changing on a Monday for the time being as I will, hopefully, be back teaching privately for Medusa Training Academy at their new academy in Edinburgh once a week. The academy is a private training facilitator, so to be back doing what I love is exciting and I hope to gain my internal verification qualification which will allow me to teach other assessors in other salons.
This shouldn’t affect my other teaching job for milk-shake UK but it does mean that Mondays will no longer be viable as most “in salon” training days are held on a Monday and with both Morgan and Laura now completed their training I need to keep my CPD up.
The places teaching has taken me to have been incredible and I have certainly covered the miles. Yesterday I was in Peterhead; tomorrow I could be in Fife. But all in all the salons I visit are all welcoming, friendly and we have great fun exploring colour and building confidence.
I’ve taught so many people over the years, and it’s very rewarding when it goes right, I cannot believe I’ve been teaching since 2009
So as we begin to take a step in to an incredibly busy summer I want to thank all our clients for their continued support and love of us here at the Little Hair Company.
