We are holding our Annual General Meeting at the hall on Monday 23 February at 7pm. As always, everyone is very welcome to attend either as a guest or with the intention of joining the committee. The hall is a very important asset to the village and we are always looking for enthusiastic people to come and help us keep it thriving. It’s a great way to do your bit for your local community. Please come along or call Jill Young on 850087 for more information.
Our October winners were:-
1st, Jim Maclean
2nd, Evelyn Scobie
As a member of the 100 Club, you are in with a chance of winning £25 (1st) or £15 (2nd) each month and it only costs £12 per year. For more information, please call Gail Meek on 850999.
Please come along to our quiz night on Friday 23 January for teams of up to six people. Please look out for more details on Facebook and posters nearer the time.
Yes, it’s that time again! As always, we are asking for people to come forward and help us organise our annual fete. We know how much it means to everyone in the village because there are always lots of volunteers on ‘the day’ and we would love to hear from some of you up front! There are lots of ‘wee jobs’ that need to be done over the few months before the fete and the more people we have who are willing to help, the less each of them are asked to do. Our intention this year is to create a separate sub-committee to organise the fete. To be part of this and ensure the fete goes ahead again this year, please speak to Jill Young (850087) or Sue Smith (850251) before 31st January. Thank you!
