WILLIAMSON HALL REFURBISHMENT

It is with great pleasure that we announce stage 2 of the Williamson Hall refurbishment.  Rewind ‘four years to 2015 and you may recall the hall had some major works done to the main hall, ante room, kitchen and ladies’ toilets giving the community a much more desirable village hall.  Bookings continue to go from strength to strength, with the hall hosting childrens’ birthday parties to 100-guest weddings - we like to think we have the facilities for most of your needs.

Thanks to the money raised at the annual fete, which is very well supported by the community, and a Community Investment Fund grant, stage 2 of our refurbishment sees us updating the men’s toilets which will give us new access into shower room facilities - this will be even more beneficial to the residential groups that visit and stay at the hall at least twice a year!  The work is planned to start over the summer holidays as bookings are naturally quieter.  We will keep you updated of progress via our FB page Williamson Hall, Abernethy - please follow this page to keep updated.

If you would like to book the hall for your next event then please contact Andrea Dewar on 07968978432 / andrea.dewar@talktalk.net.

Also, did you know the following activities are on each week up at the hall.  These groups are right on your doorstep and are a means of the community coming together and enjoying the services they offer as well as the great facilities of the hall.  Please come along and support these groups:-

Mondays at 8pm - Pilates (contact miklosik.mariann@gmail.com)

Tuesdays at 7pm - Aerobics (Body Attack)/circuits/toning and at 8pm Body Balance (taichi, pilates, yoga) (contact andrea.dewar@talktalk.net)

Thursdays at 9.30am - Mother & Toddler Group (contact louisehale@icloud.com)

Thursdays at 7.30pm - Line Dancers (contact marr9lw@btinternet.com)

Thank you for your continued support, as without it refurbishment works like these would not be possible!
